April 30,
2008 - Rebel passes away. The wonderful life of Rebel
came to end April 30th at the age of 13. He died
peacefully in the arms of Ernie and Tina. Our house is so
empty without him. He can never be replaced, and we will
always miss him. We are thankful for having been blessed
by his presence these past thirteen years. He was an
incredibly talented field trial competitor, but he was
also a terrific family member and the best pet have ever
had. We are devastated by the loss of him.

2007 - Rebel's son Caprock's Cool Hand Luke Wins Open,
earns Field Championship title! Luke, owned by Lee
Smithwick, Wins the Open at Red River Retriever Club of
Texas in Bonham, TX, garnering his seventh open placement.
He also has four All-Age Reserve JAMs, and has finished 18
All-Age trials to date. February
11, 2007 - Rebel's son Caprock's Cool Hand Luke takes 3rd
Place in the Open! Luke, owned by Lee Smithwick, took
an Open 3rd at the Coastal Bend Retriever Club of Texas
field trial in Rockport, TX. September
17, 2006 - Rebel's son Caprock's Cool Hand Luke
takes 3rd Place in the Open! Luke, owned by Lee
Smithwick, took an Open 4th at the Rocky Mountain
Retriever Club in Orchard, CO. February
26, 2006 - Rebel's daughter Rockerins Riverdance Wins the
Amateur at Shreveport-Bossier Retriever Club! Ramsie, a
3-year-old owned and handled by Paul Rainbolt, took the blue in the
Amateur at Shreveport-Bossier Retriever
Club in LA. It was a good day for the family, as two
of the four places were taken by Rebel daughters!

4th Place in the Open for the second consecutive week! Luke,
owned by Lee Smithwick, took an Open 4th at the Northern
Utah Retriever Club at Whitney Reservoir, UT. July

Club! Luke, owned by Lee Smithwick, took an Open 4th

2005 - Rebel's daughter FC-AFC Riverside's Raggedy
Ann takes Amateur 2nd at Panhandle Retriever Club,
and Qualifies for the 2005 National Amateur! Annie, owned by
Linda Noga, took 2nd in the Amateur at Panhandle Retriever
Club in Amarillo, TX. She was handled by Linda. Annie was
the 2004 #1 All-Age Yellow Female in the U.S. Annie now has
34 1/2 All-Age Points.

2005 - Rebel's son "Coupe"
takes Qualifying 2nd at the NW Missouri Retriever Club! Silver Creek's Super Coupe, owned by
Michael Baysinger, took 2nd in the Qualifying at the
Northwest Missouri Retriever Club to become Qualified
All-Age. This
was Coupe's 11th licensed field trial placement. Coupe
collected 23
Derby Points before his qualifying career. He joins his
littermates Zeke of Silver Creek and Total Recall in
becoming Qualified All-Age as well as making the Derby
List..

2004 - Rebel's daughter FC-AFC Riverside's Raggedy
Ann takes Open 4th at the Tulsa Retriever Club! Annie, owned by
Linda Noga, took 4th in the Open at Tulsa Retriever Club
in Tulsa, OK. She was handled by Bill Schrader. In a span
of ten days, Annie has earned three all-age placements and
10 1/2 all-age points! This gives her 23 1/2 All-Age
Points and 4 All-Age Wins in 2004, making her the #1
Yellow Female in the U.S. for the year! This was Annie's
seventh open placement, and tenth all-age placement, still
only at the age of 4. Annie now has 31 1/2 All-Age Points,
making her one of the top all-age yellow females in
history. October

2004 - Rebel's daughter Annie Wins the Open at Sooner
Retriever Club! Only hours after winning the Amateur
at the same trial, AFC Riverside's Raggedy Ann, owned by
Linda Noga, Won the Open at the Sooner Retriever Club in
Noble, OK. She was handled to this win by Bill Schrader.
The win put Annie over the top for he FC title, and
Qualifies her for the 2004 National Open in Montgomery,
TX! The two-handler double-header win is reminiscent of
her father, who completed the same feat. October

2004 - Rebel's daughter Annie Wins the Amateur at Sooner
Retriever Club! Riverside's Raggedy Ann, owned by
Linda Noga, Won the Amateur at the Sooner Retriever Club
in Noble, OK. Annie was handled by Linda Noga. The win
earned Annie her AFC title. This was Linda and Annie's 3rd
Amateur Win this year! October

2004 - Rebel's son "Zeke" is takes fourth
placement in three weeks! Zeke of Silver Creek, owned by
Ernie & Tina Sullivent, took 2nd place at the
Qualifying at Mississippi Valley Retriever Club in Weldon
Spring, MO. Zeke was handled by
Bobby George. Zeke has taken a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th
place in the span of 16 days! October

Qualifying at Topeka Retriever Club at the Robben Ranch in
Strong City, KS, where the ranch owner currently has a
belly full of Rebel puppies in his bitch, FC Blackwater
Hocus Pocus. Zeke was handled by

26, 2004 - Rebel's son "Zeke" is takes 1st and
3rd in the Double Qualifying at Spirit of St. Louis
Retriever Club! Zeke of Silver Creek, owned by
Ernie & Tina Sullivent, took 1st Place one day, and
3rd Place the next, at the Double Derby-Qualifying at
Spirit of St. Louis Retriever Club in Weldon Spring, MO. Zeke was handled by
Dex Doolittle. August
22, 2004 - Rebel's son "Bob" Wins the 75 dog
Amateur at Blackhawk Retriever Club! Md's Just Bob,
owned by Marc Fritzmeier, won the Amateur in only his
third all-age trial against stiff competition at the
Blackhawk Retriever Club in LaCrosse, WI. Bob is
completely amateur trained and handled. In the past year,
Bob Bob took a 2nd and 3rd in two qualifying earlier this
summer, and earned his AKC Master Hunter title this past
year. He is also a two-time semi-finalist in the ESPN
Super Retriever Series. August

Luke Wins the Qualifying! Luke, owned by Lee Smithwick,
Won the Qualifying and became Qualified All-Age at the
Blackhawk Retriever Club in Mondovi, WI. July

2004 - Rebel's daughter Annie takes Open 2nd at Pike's
Peak Retriever Club! Riverside's Raggedy Ann, owned by
Linda Noga, placed 2nd in the Open at Pike's Peak
Retriever Club in Colorado. She was handled by Bill
Schrader. This is Annie's third 2nd place finish, and
fifth Open placement. She now has 11 Open Points and needs
only a win for her FC title.
May 22,
2004 - Rebel's son "Zeke" is Qualified All-Age! Exhibiting
spectacular marking, Zeke of Silver Creek, owned by
Ernie & Tina Sullivent, took 2nd place at the
Qualifying at Central New York Retriever Club in
Baldwinsville, NY. Zeke was handled by
Bobby George. Zeke (OFA Excellent, Normal Elbows, CERF) is
now the only QAA Yellow with both parents and all four
grandparents titled.

Rebel's son "Kappa" takes an Open 3rd at
Cimarron Retriever Club!
Pumpkins Son of The South, bred by Mary Tatum DVM, owned and trained by Dale Sweeney,
took 3rd at the Open at Cimarron Retriever Club in
Woodward, OK. Kappa had previously won a Derby at that
trial to put him on the 2002 Derby List.

2004 - Rebel's daughter "Annie" Wins
Back-to-Back Amateurs by taking the Blue at Cimarron
Retriever Club! Riverside's
Raggedy Anne, owned by Linda and Gary Noga, won the
Amateur for the second week in a row by earning the Blue
at Cimarron Retriever Club in Woodward, OK. As she was
last week, Annie was handled by her owner Linda. Annie is
following in her sire's footsteps by winning back-to-back
trials, a feat Rebel accomplished at the all-age level in
three consecutive years. Annie now needs an open win for
her FC title, and an amateur win for her AFC title. May

2004 - Rebel's daughter "Annie" Wins the Amateur
at Metro Alliance Retriever Club! Riverside's
Raggedy Anne, owned by Linda and Gary Noga, won the
Amateur at Metro Alliance in Ravenna, TX. She was handled
to her win by her owner Linda, who won her first all-age
stake.

2004 - Rebel's daughter "Annie" takes
Open 2nd at Rose Country Retriever Club! Riverside's
Raggedy Anne, owned by Linda and Gary Noga, took second
place in the Open stake at the Rose Country Retriever Club
trial near Tyler, Texas. Among the top open yellow females
in the nation, Annie has multiple Open placements,
and needs only a win to complete her Field Championship
title. Annie was handled by Bill Schrader.

2004 - Rebel's son "Zeke" takes 3rd in his
second
Qualifying! Zeke of Silver Creek, owned by
Ernie & Tina Sullivent, earned the yellow ribbon at
the Kansas City Retriever Club in West Mineral, Kansas. Zeke was handled by
Bobby George.

2004 - Rebel's son "Zeke" takes 4th in his first
Qualifying! Zeke of Silver Creek, owned by
Ernie & Tina Sullivent, earned the white ribbon at
the Topeka Retriever Club in Fall River, Kansas. Zeke's littermate "Ernie"
took Reserve JAM at the same trial. Zeke was handled by
Bobby George.
January 1,
2004 - Rebel's three sons from one litter all named to
2003 Top Derby List! Silver Creek's Super Coupe,
Total Recall, and Zeke of Silver Creek all made the 2003
Derby List. All were from the same litter, whelped by AFC
Fat City Chase, owned by Robin Christensen.
"Coupe" ended the year near the top of the list
with 21 points, finishing 60% of his trials and tallying
three wins. "Ernie" and "Zeke," while
running against each other at every trial, together
finished 75% of their trials, tallying three wins and
eight placements between them in limited trials.
November 2, 2003 - Rebel's son "Ernie"
takes Derby 2nd at
the Metro Alliance trial in Texas! Total Recall took the
red ribbon at the Derby at the Metro Alliance Retriever Club in
Ravenna, Texas. "Ernie" is owned by
Doug MacKenzie of Aspen, Colorado, who owns Rebel's mother
FC-AFC Ms. Chief, and is Rebel's breeder. Ernie now has 14
Derby Points. October 12,
2003 - Rebel's daughter "Annie" takes
Open 3rd at Sunflower Retriever Club! Riverside's
Raggedy Anne, owned by Gary and Linda Noga, took third
place in the Open stake at the Sunflower Retriever Club
in Hazelton, Kansas. Annie has several Open placements,
and will earn her Field Championship with a win. Annie was handled by Bill Schrader.
October 5, 2003 - Rebel's son "Ernie"
Wins the Derby at
the Topeka trial in Kansas, and is named to the U.S. Top
Derby List! Total Recall took the Blue ribbon at the Derby at the
Topeka Retriever Club in Strong City, Kansas. "Ernie" is owned by
Doug MacKenzie of Aspen, Colorado. Having
previously collected three 3rd place finishes, the win
puts Ernie on the Derby List with his littermates Coupe
and Zeke. The three brothers have now tallied six wins
between them, four in the last month alone. Ernie was
handled to his win by Dex Doolittle. October
5, 2003 - Rebel's son "Zeke" takes 3rd in the Derby
at the Topeka Retriever Club! Zeke of Silver Creek, owned by
Ernie & Tina Sullivent, earned the yellow ribbon at
the Topeka Retriever Club in Strong City, Kansas. This was
Zeke's fifth Derby finish in 7 trials, and he now has 12
Derby points. Zeke's littermate "Ernie" won the
trial. Zeke was handled by Dex Doolittle.
September 28, 2003 - Rebel's son "Coupe"
takes his fourth placement in as many weeks with a Derby
3rd at Snake River Retriever Club! Silver Creek's Super Coupe, owned by
Robin Christensen & Hook Taylor, took 3rd in the Derby
at the Snake River Retriever Club in Pingree, Idaho. This
was Coupe's tenth placement in the Derby, and now has 23
Derby Points. It was a family affair, as his mother AFC
Fat City Chase took an Open 3rd at the same trial, leaving
her only one point shy of her FC title. Chase was handled
by Hook, who was competing in only his second all-age
trial.

21, 2003 - Rebel's son "Coupe" Wins back-to-back
Derbies and has a total of 21 Derby Points! Silver Creek's Super Coupe, owned by
Robin Christensen & Hook Taylor, took the Blue for the
second time in as many weekends, winning at the Western
Montana Retriever Club in Charlo, Montana. Coupe had eight
perfect marks, as he did last weekend. This was Coupe's
third
Derby Win, ninth Derby placement, and 18th Derby finish. Coupe has
finished 86% of the trials in which he was entered. Coupe
and his littermate Zeke have accounted for 5 Derby Wins. September
21, 2003 - Rebel's son "Clue" Wins the Amateur
at PEI Retriever Club!
CAFC Rebel Without A Clue IV, owned by Bev Fowler, won the
Amateur at the PEI Retriever Club on Prince Edward Island.
This represents an incredible comeback for Clue, who
suffered a tear of his anterior cruciate ligament late
last year, and endured surgery and a long rehabilitation
well into this year. Clue was the #7 Amateur Dog in Canada
last year as a two-year-old, running only limited trials. September
14, 2003 - Rebel's son "Coupe" Wins another Derby in
Idaho! Silver Creek's Super Coupe, owned by
Robin Christensen & Hook Taylor, took the Blue at Wood
River Retriever Club in Picabo, Idaho. This was Coupe's second
Derby Win. Interestingly, Coupe and his littermate Zeke of Silver
Creek won Derbies on the exact same weekend!

14, 2003 - Rebel's son "Zeke" Wins another Derby in Kansas, and is now on the U.S. Top Derby
List! Zeke of Silver Creek, owned by
Ernie & Tina Sullivent, won the Derby at the Jayhawk Retriever Club in
Kingman, Kansas. This was a large Derby, and was considered
very difficult by those that attended. Zeke has now won
two of his four licensed Derbies, in addition to winning a
sanctioned Derby, and is now on the Derby
List averaging 2.5 points per start, finishing 75% of his
trials. Zeke was handled to his victory by Bobby George. September
14, 2003 - Rebel's son "Ernie" takes 3rd at
the Jayhawk trial in Kansas! Total Recall, owned by
Doug MacKenzie of Aspen, Colorado, earned a yellow ribbon
in the Derby at the Jayhawk Retriever Club in Kingman, Kansas.
Ernie's

7, 2003 - Rebel's son "Coupe" takes 4th in the
Derby at the Idaho Retriever Club! Silver Creek's Super Coupe, owned by
Robin Christensen & Hook Taylor, took a Derby 4th at the
Idaho Retriever Club in McCall, Idaho. Coupe is on the
U.S. Top Derby List with 11 points.

20, 2003 - Rebel's son "Coupe" takes 4th in the Derby
at Jackson Hole Retriever Club! Silver Creek's Super Coupe, owned by
Robin Christensen & Hook Taylor, took a Derby 4th at
the Jackson Hole Retriever Club in Twin Bridges, Montana.
June 1, 2003 - Rebel's daughter "Lito"
takes 4th in her first Open at the tender age of 2! Lil Bit's
Petite Syrah, owned by Victor and Holly Garcia, took 4th
Place in the Open stake at Western Nebraska Retriever Club
in North Platte, Nebraska. Lito was scheduled to spend the
weekend in the truck until her owner encouraged her to
start running the Open stake that weekend. She was handled by
Bobby George. Lito earned 17 Derby Points and Qualified
All-Age in her only Qualifying stake, all before age 2. June
1, 2003 - Rebel's son "Zeke" wins the Derby in his first
licensed field trial in Nebraska! Zeke of Silver Creek, owned by
Ernie & Tina Sullivent, won the Derby at the Western
Nebraska Retriever Club in North Platte, NE. Like his
Daddy before him, Zeke earned his blue ribbon by taking
all the big water in the last series and putting his nose
on the last bird that the other competitors found
difficult. This was the
first licensed trial for Zeke. His only
previous competition was a Sanctioned trial in Missouri,
which he also won. Zeke was handled to his victory by Bobby George. June
1, 2003 - Rebel's son "Ernie" takes third in his first
licensed Derby in Nebraska! Total Recall, owned by
Doug MacKenzie of Aspen, Colorado, earned a yellow ribbon
in his first Derby at the Western
Nebraska Retriever Club in North Platte, NE. Ernie was
flawless in his first seven retrieves, and was one of the
few to do a good job on the last tough bird. Ernie's
littermate Zeke took the Blue at the same trial. Both brothers,
who are kennel mates, were both
handled by Bobby George. June

the Derby in Montana! Silver Creek's Super Coupe, owned by

29, 2003 - Rebel's son "Zeke" wins Sanctioned
Derby in Western Missouri! Zeke of Silver Creek, owned by
Ernie & Tina Sullivent, celebrated his 16 month
birthday by winning the Sanctioned Derby held in
Centerview, Missouri. This was Zeke's first trial. He was
handled to his victory by Dex Doolittle.
December 14, 2002 - Rebel's daughter "Lito"
Qualifies All-Age before age 2 at Piney Woods Retriever Club! Lil Bit's
Petite Syrah, owned by Victor and Holly Garcia, took 2nd
Place in the Qualifying at Piney Woods Retriever Club in Texas. This was
Lito's first qualifying. She was handled by owner Holly
Garcia. Prior to her 2nd birthday, Lito now has
accumulated 17 Derby Points and Qualified All-Age.
December 1, 2002 - Rebel's son "Clue" finishes
2002 as the #7 Amateur Dog for the year in Canada!
CAFC Rebel Without A Clue IV, owned by Bev Fowler, was the
#7 Amateur dog in Canada this past year. He placed in all
9 amateur stakes that he competed in. He accomplished all
this while still only two years old. October
27, 2002 - Rebel's daughter "Lito"
Wins the Derby at Lone Star Retriever Club! Lil Bit's
Petite Syrah, owned by Victor and Holly Garcia, won the
Derby at Lone Star Retriever Club in Texas. This was
Lito's third Derby Win in six weeks. Lito now has
accumulated 17 Derby Points in the last 1 1/2 months.
October 20, 2002 - Rebel's daughter "Annie" takes
Open 2nd at the Sooner Retriever Club! Two-year-old Riverside's
Raggedy Anne, owned by Gary and Linda Noga, took second
place in the Open stake at the Sooner Retriever Club in
Shawnee, Oklahoma. Annie has now has five Open points, and
needs a Win for her FC title. Annie was handled by Bill Schrader.
September 29, 2002 - Rebel's daughter "Lito"
Wins the Derby at Nebraska Dog & Hunt Club! Lil Bit's
Petite Syrah, owned by Victor and Holly Garcia, won the
Derby at Nebraska Dog & Hunt Club in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Dex Doolittle handled Lito two her second Derby win in
three weekends, placing her on the 2002 Derby List.
September 18, 2002 - Rebel's son "Clue" finishes
his CAFC title at PEI Retriever Club! Rebel Without A
Clue IV, owned by Bev Fowler, earned his AFTCH title in
Canada at the PEI Retriever Club trial on Prince Edward
Island. He was handled by his owner. He completed his
title at age 33 months. Clue has placed in all 9 Amateurs
that he has run.
September 15, 2002 - Rebel's daughter "Lito"
Wins the Derby at Jayhawk Retriever Club! Lil Bit's
Petite Syrah, owned by Victor and Holly Garcia, won the
Derby at Jayhawk Retriever Club in Kingman, Kansas.
Handling Lito in a Derby for the first time, Holly proudly
took home the Blue! Lito is a product of Holly and
Victor's own breeding.
September 11, 2002 - Rebel diagnosed with tendon tear in
his shoulder; Rebel is retired from field trials. Rebel's
brilliant career has been brought to an untimely end with re-injury
of his left shoulder. He was evaluated at University of
Missouri by orthopedic specialist Dr. James Cook, and was
found to have a tear in his biceps tendon at the insertion
in the shoulder. Although surgical options were
considered, no surgery can return him to competitive form. Rebel
will be allowed to go out on top, placing in his last
Open, and still the Top Open Yellow currently breeding or
competing.
September 8, 2002 - Rebel takes Open 3rd at Mid-Illinois
Retriever Club, but re-injures his shoulder on the last
bird. Rebel placed 3rd in a tough 78-dog Open at
Mid-Illinois Retriever Club in Victoria, Illinois. The
trial was held in an area with very challenging terrain,
and unfortunately Rebel re-injured his shoulder on the
last bird. He courageously retrieved the final bird and
made his way back to the line though unable to bear weight
on his front leg. He was scratched from the rest of the
Amateur. September
1, 2002 - Rebel's son "Max" finishes his AKC
Master Hunter title at Northwest Missouri Retriever Club!
Watermark's Maximum R.O.I., owned by Lyle and Debby
Steinman, completed his AKC Master Hunter title at the NW
Missouri Retriever Club hunt test in Smithville, Missouri.
Max was handled by his owner Lyle Steinman. This
completion also qualifies him for the 2003 Master
National. Max previously earned 15 Derby Points, is on the
2000 and 2001 National Derby Lists, and is Qualified
All-Age. August
9, 2002 - Rebel's daughter "Annie" takes
Open 3rd at Pikes Peak Retriever Club! Two-year-old Riverside's
Raggedy Anne, owned by Gary and Linda Noga, took third
place in the Open stake at the Pikes Peak Retriever Club
in Saratoga, Wyoming. Annie has now placed in two of her
first four Opens. Annie was handled by Bill Schrader.
July 28, 2002 - Rebel's daughter "Annie" takes
Open 3rd in her second Open! Two-year-old Riverside's
Raggedy Anne, owned by Gary and Linda Noga, took third
place in only her second Open stake at Colorado Women's
Retriever Club trial. Annie was handled by Bill Schrader.
July 13, 2002 - Rebel's
son "Clue" Wins the Amateur at Moncton Retriever
Club! Two-year-old Rebel Without A Clue, owned by Bev
Fowler, won the Amateur at the Moncton Retriever Club in
Canada.
June 18, 2002 - Rebel appears injury free; Ernie &
Tina move to Missouri for the Fall season! Rebel
appears back to normal after his convalescence, and is
ready to get back to work. He will continue to rest until
July 1, and ease back into training with water work. He is
expected to be ready for the first summer trial at the end
of July. Also, his owners Ernie & Tina Sullivent have
temporarily re-located to Missouri to run Rebel throughout
the summer and fall season.
May 10, 2002 - Rebel injures his shoulder at Mid-Iowa
Retriever Club. Rebel injured his shoulder at the first series at Mid-Iowa
Retriever Club in Elkhart, Iowa. Although these have been
Rebel's favorite trial grounds, having won three all-age
trials and a Double-Header there, it was not to be his
favorite place during this trial. He was evaluated by a veterinary
orthopedic surgeon on May 14th and again May 28th. He has
been diagnosed with tenosynovitis of the biceps tendon in
the shoulder, and should
improve with rest. Unfortunately, he will miss the
National Amateur, but should be able to return for the
Late Summer/Fall circuit. May
5, 2002 - Rebel Takes 2nd at the Amateur at Missouri
Valley Hunt Club! Handled by owner Ernie Sullivent,
Rebel took a 2nd in the Amateur at Missouri Valley Hunt
Club in Valley, Nebraska. Rebel now has 77 1/2
all-age points. The trial coincided with the publishing of
this month's Retriever Field Trial News, which has Rebel's
father and uncle on the cover. May
5, 2002 - Rebel's son Joey takes 2nd at the Derby at
Madison Retriever Club! Joe Mac's Cause for Concern,
CD, OA, NAJ, took a second in the Derby in Madison,
Wisconsin. Owned by Deb Joseph and Paul Young, Joey is a multi-purpose dog, having earned
titles in both agility and obedience while also pursuing a
field trial career.
April 21, 2002 - Rebel Wins the Amateur at Jayhawk
Retriever Club! Due to an unexpected death in the
family, Brian Hoffman ran Rebel for Ernie in the Amateur stake
at the Jayhawk Retriever Club in Kingman, Kansas. He
becomes the fifth person to win an All-Age stake with
Rebel. Rebel was flawless, and won
his 13th All-Age Stake. This qualifies Rebel for his 5th
National, the 2002 National Amateur. December 2, 2001 - Rebel's daughter "Annie" Wins
Derby and takes 35th Derby Point! Riverside's
Raggedy Ann, owned by Gary and Linda Noga, finished her
Derby career in style by taking the Blue at Lone Star
Retriever Club in Montgomery, Texas. Annie was handled to
her win by her trainer, Steve Stidham. In her most recent
trial, Annie Qualified All-Age.

4, 2001 - Rebel's daughter "Annie" Qualifies
All-Age, and takes 30th Derby Point on the same weekend! Riverside's Raggedy Ann,
bred by Stan Tupman, owned by Gary & Linda Noga,
placed 2nd in the Qualifying and 2nd in the Derby at Metro
Alliance Retriever Club in Ravenna, Texas.
October 14, 2001 - Rebel takes 2nd in the Amateur at
Sunflower Retriever Club! Handled by owner
Ernie Sullivent, Rebel was awarded 2nd Place at the
Amateur at Sunflower Retriever Club near Burlington,
Oklahoma. This was his third placement in as many weeks.
October 7, 2001 - Rebel makes All-Time High Point Open
List by taking an Open 4th at Topeka Retriever Club!
Rebel took 4th Place in the Open stake at Topeka Retriever
Club near Melvern Lake, Kansas. The placement put Rebel on
the All-Time High Point Open Dog list, as featured in the
Retriever Field Trial Performance book. Rebel also took
the Reserve JAM in the Amateur at the trial.
September 30, 2001 - Rebel takes Open 3rd at Nebraska Dog
& Hunt Club! Handled by owner
Ernie Sullivent, Rebel took 3rd Place in the 78-dog Open
at Nebraska Dog & Hunt Club in Lincoln, Nebraska. Rebel is the #1 Top Open Yellow
for 2001.

30, 2001 - Rebel sired littermates "Hoss" and
"Kaya" take Derby 1st &
4th at the Swamp Dog Club! Handled by Bill
Thompson, Rebel son Canalside's Fortuna Stallone won the Derby,
and Rebel daughter D's Cabin Fever Kaya took a Derby 4th at the
Swamp Dog Club in Winslow, New Jersey. The two dogs are
littermates, bred by Jeff Hart. Another littermate, Rebel
Without A Clue, owned by Gene Anderson, has taken 1st,
2nd, and 3rd in the Junior, and JAM in two Qualifyings, in
Canada.

23, 2001 - Rebel's daughter "Annie" Wins Derby -
24 Derby Pts! Riverside's Raggedy Ann, bred by Stan
Tupman, owned by Gary & Linda Noga, won the Derby
at Cimarron Retriever Club in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Linda handled Annie to her win.
Annie has now collected 24 Derby Points, and does not turn 2 until December! September
23, 2001 - Rebel's daughter "Maria" places three
times in one weekend - now has 17 Derby Points!
Rebel's Countryside Maria,
bred by Paul & Ann Colavita, owned and trained by
Brian Van Engen, took three placements in the four stakes
at the Watopa Retriever Club double D/Q at Mondovi,
Wisconsin. The first day, she took a Derby 2nd; the second
day, she took a 4th in the Derby and a 4th in the
Qualifying. Maria now has a total of 17 Derby Points!

16, 2001 - Rebel's son takes Derby 4th at Jayhawk
Retriever Club - 11 Derby Points! Pumpkin's
Son of the South, owned and trained by Dale Sweeney, bred
by Mary Tatum DVM, placed 4th in the Derby at Jayhawk
Retriever Club in Kingman, Kansas. He now has 11 Derby
Points.

Rebel's son "Max" Qualifies All-Age
Watermark's
Maximum R.O.I., bred by Mary Tatum DVM, owned by Ernie
& Tina Sullivent, took a 2nd in the Qualifying at Rocky
Mountain Retriever Club in Granby, Colorado. Max is also on the
2001 Derby List with 15 points, including two Derby Wins in his first three trials!
August 12, 2001 - Rebel Wins the Pike's Peak Open!
Rebel wins the 94-dog Open at the Pikes Peak Retriever
Club field trial in Tie Siding, Wyoming. The win qualifies
him for his third straight National Open. This is the third year in a row
in which he has won
back-to-back Opens. He now has ten career Open Wins.
July 29, 2001 - Rebel Wins the Northwest Iowa Open!
Rebel - back at work for only three days after a month
"vacation" at home - won the Open at the
Northwest Iowa Retriever Club field trial held at Buettner
Game Farm in Webb, Iowa!

Rebel's son "Kappa" Wins two Derbies in his first three trials!
Pumpkins Son of The South, bred by Mary Tatum DVM, owned and trained by Dale Sweeney, wins the Derbies at
Wichita Retriever Club and Cimarron Retriever Club. The
Wichita trial was his first, and the Cimarron trial was
the third trial he has run. He is all amateur-trained,
and does not turn 2 until October.
